Greetings!
This week we are hosting a book fair that is a bit different from the regular Scholastic Book Fair. This one is through the Baergens who come to our school, set up the fair and run it for the week. They do all the work and the school receives a small percentage of sales that translates into free books.
The Baergens have been coming to our school for a number of years now and many of our parents are happy to see them each year. They bring books from Christian (non SDA) publishers only. The books range from books for preschoolers through adults. They also bring Bibles, T-shirts, and small inexpensive items such as erasers for students to purchase. The Baergens have a number of Adventist schools or churches on their schedule and are familiar with Adventist values.
